We use two methods when cleaning fabric upholstery, Hot Water Extraction and Encapsulation.
Hot Water Extraction
Upholstery is vacuumed to remove dry soil, chemical is applied to loosen soils and a water softener is injected into the fabric and immediately extracted, removing soiling and leaving the fabric chemical free and soft to touch.
Encapsulation is a “dry cleaning” method. A special “dry cleaning” chemical is applied to the fabric, agitated with a hand held orbital machine and vacuumed dry. On inspection, we will advise on the method most suitable for your upholstery.
Leather upholstery requires regular attention to maintain its look and feel. We first inspect the upholstery and highlight any damage or imperfections, apply a neutral cleaner to remove soils etc and buff dry. We then apply a conditioner to protect the leather.
SPECIALISED STAIN REMOVAL – Not all stains, especially tannin and coloured stains, can be removed by carpet cleaning alone. Some stains require specialist attention. We have the expertise to remove stains that some other carpet cleaners can’t.
